Hi there,
Thanks for your question.
To be eligible to attempt Special Forces Selection you must have completed 24 months adult service from the date of your enlistment.
Once your application has been accepted you will have to complete The Briefing and Assessment Course (BAC). The course is five days long, based in South Wales. It assesses candidates across three main areas: fitness, navigation and information assimilation. It aims to provide candidates with as much information about Selection as possible, including how best to prepare. A number of question and answer sessions allow candidates to learn more about the UKSF and the individual units within the group.
Those who successfully pass the briefing course will get offered a start date to attend selection. Hope this helps but if you have any other questions please do come back to me.
