In regards to the theory, sight/aural tests and technical exercises in the audition what ABRSM grade would they be?

Aim for around Grade 5/6 standard, however the audition is to measure your suitability and how easy it would be to train you to the correct standard. So don't worry too much if you feel this is beyond you currently. Musicians in the British Army can have one of the longest phase 2 training, spending up to about 2 years is needed.
