Good afternoon,
Short answer is no, at the start of phase one you will have passed the entry standards for fitness at the selection centre, your fitness will then be brought up in training to meet the criteria for passing out of training. We do not expect you to be an athlete by the time you start training nor do we expect you to be an athlete at the end of training, however the process of training will bring you up to the standard required bit by bit progressively.
