Regimental Medical Officer
Hello,
If you wish to join as a qualified nurse you require a nursing degree and registration with the NMC. If you wish to join and then train as a nurse you require 120 UCAS points plus 3 GCSEs Grades 9-4 (previously A-C) including Maths, English Language and one of the following: Health and Social Care, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Science double/triple award or equivalent.
The full details on what is required is available on the Army website https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles/army-medical-service/army-nurse
The Army does also employ Combat medical technicians and paramedics. I am afraid I do not know the requirements for joining as a paramedic, but the national recruiting line may be able to help you on 0345 600 8080.
