could you train to be a combat medical technician and then later on decide to do further training and be an army nurse?

Hello,
Yes, in certain circumstances it is possible to train as a nurse if you are already serving in a different role, however this can be competitive and so it is not a guaranteed opportunity.
It is also possible to join as a student nurse from the start if you meet the entry requirements. For more details please see our website https://apply.army.mod.uk/roles/army-medical-service/army-nurse?cid=jobb7890198827&utm_source=Jobs4&utm_medium=JobPosting&utm_campaign=33_SRT_2848&utm_term=1x1&utm_content=33pqonurse&gclid=CjwKCAiA-_L9BRBQEiwA-bm5fnVNGiqgZ9hCY2IcnBys4t1AUq8Ci7douxSu1DM-X8Xbbegr4aKZtBoCVfMQAvD_BwE
