Am I capable of being in the rifles as a person from Scotland?

Additional information
I have always wanted to be part of something really special, hence why I would like to join the Rifles. But as someone from Scotland, I’m not sure I will be accepted let alone let in to the regiment because I am not from the area that it recruits from. Thanks

Thanks for your question.
Yes absolutely, you can join any regiment within the army providing you meet the requirements. Location is not a requirement.
You will go through your career working with soldiers from all across the U.K. and commonwealth so being from Scotland will not be an issue.
It’s nice to see you have chosen a regiment for their role and not location.
Are you already in the process?

Thank you that made me feel better about my decision, no I am not yet embarked on the process due to recent events that have happened in previous months but I intend to join as soon as things come back to normal
Thanks
