Officer Commanding British Army Band Sandhurst
Hi there, thanks for your question.
Gurkha musicians follow a slightly different selection process to the rest of the Corps of Army Music.
You can find out how to apply as a Gurkha here:
https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/corps-regiments-and-units/brigade-of-gurkhas/gurkha-recruitment/
The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas are based in Folkestone in the South East of the UK and are a Symphonic Wind Band consisting of wind, brass and percussion players, as well as their popular group the Hill Boys.
You can find out more about the band here:
https://www.gurkhabde.com/the-band-of-the-brigade-of-gurkhas/
I hope that helps answer your question, and do let me know if I can help with any further information,
Bethan
