Hi Abbie,
once you completed your basic training and trade training you be posted to unit.Yes then you deploy with the regiment on various exercises,tours,adventure training's etc,It can be for few days or weeks or months.From my past experience I was posted for four years with 1 ROYAL ANGLICANS,infantry regiment where i got the opportunity to deploy to many difference places like - 6 weeks in Kenya,3 weeks Germany ,2 weeks Gibraltar, 3 weeks, Bosnia 4 months Nigeria, and many in the country,etc
