Hi there, Thanks so much for your question. Yes, British Army musicians have a secondary operational role which is support to deployed Army medicine. All personnel will receive basic medical training during Phase 1, and then musicians selected on rotation to be at readiness to support Field Hospitals will receive extra specific training when required, but this doesn't take place during Phase 2. You can check out more about Army Music at our website here: https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/corps-regiments-and-units/royal-corps-of-army-music/ or Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/Royalcorpsofarmymusic. If you want to find out more detail about our careers then fill in our contact form here and one of the team will get back to you: forms.gle/hth5FLA9hD43HXYz7.
