As a 16yr old looking to join the REME, what course/trade should I learn in college to increase my chances of selection?

Hi Tom,
We only look at GCSEs when seeing if you would be eligible to join the REME. College qualifications wouldn't matter or make a difference to your application for the REME. If you have 4s and above in Maths, English and Science you would be able to join the REME in any role you choose. As for myself I joined straight from High school because I knew college would be pointless and I could have an extra 2 years training, qualifying in my job and getting paid if i joined straight away and didn't go to college.
Hope this helps.
A :)
