Good Afternoon,

I would recommend looking into joining the Royal Military police, this would give you vital policing experience putting you in a good position for joining the civilian police when you decide to exit the service. I would imagine having this background would put you above other candidates applying for civilian police without any previous experience, while also already having qualifications in policing. Please see bellow link.

Hope this helps.
