I really enjoyed being in the Army Reserve and Southampton University Officer Training Corps while at university and the skills I learnt really helped me with officer training and my career. Plus you get paid! There are trips away, I went adventurous training in Canada. Check out https://apply.army.mod.uk/how-to-join/entryoptions/officer-scholarship

I don’t think that answers the question at all. Are people limited to certain degrees or universities on the scholarship scheme?

Hopefully all you need can be found here; https://apply.army.mod.uk/how-to-join/entryoptions/officer-bursary or https://apply.army.mod.uk/how-to-join/entryoptions/-/media/cd7f3abb965746b4a5ba981fb22edc27.ashx In short, no you are not necessarily limited for the standard and enhanced bursaries. Only the technical bursary. You must have passed Army Officer Selection before you can apply. Other than that, the only conditions that apply are: * That you serve a minimum of 3 years on a Short Service Commission (SSC) after the 44 week Commissioning Course at RMAS (unless you join The Army Air Corps, when you must serve for 8 years due to the investment in your pilot training). * That you join the University Officers Training Corps (UOTC) (DTUS Squadron for DTUS bursars) as a full training bursar (a minimum of 45 days training in your first year) or the Army Reserve. You will be paid for the training you do (even adventurous training) at the appropriate Army Reserve rates. * That you agree to enter RMAS on the first Commissioning Course after graduation, which is to be before your 30th birthday. * That you study at a university within the United Kingdom.
