What does a normal day look like as a musician in the Army and what do you do in your free time?

Hi there Every day is different as a musician in the army. Some days we work a full day and others we may work during the evening. This includes a lot of weekend work and also extended overseas tours (I went to North America for 3 months). When not performing on guard duty or concerts, the working day can include musical rehearsals (individual and ensemble), uniform cleaning, physical training, military training, admin work, marching band rehearsals and further education. Hope this helps. Rob
