Do i take the training days out of my holiday allowance or is their a law that allows me to become an army reservist (without changing my job contract)?

You would need to have 19 days a year service to be in the reserves this can be done on weekends or when you are not working in your civil job so you dont need to use your holidays the reserves will make it as easy as they can for you to be able to run both jobs.
