What sort of 1.5 mile best effort times should you be hitting in order to be considered for the Parachute Regiment?

Hi Liam,
We don't assess you on the 1.5 mile run anymore, its 1.2 miles/2km.
For the Parachute Regiment you will have to run the 1.2 mile in under 8:15.

Thanks Gabriella! As an Officer, i'm guessing you would be expected to be considerably under the 8.15?
On a separate point - is the 2km run doing during assessment with all other recruits?

We don't offer the Parachute Regiment under the Officer Route - it would be Regular Soldier only.
