The basic parachute course is conducted over a three week period at RAF Brize Norton. You will be trained by the instructors on a variety of things including parachute landing fails, how to exit, land and flight techniques. You will have to complete 4 decants and 1 night jump to qualify for your wings. There is a mock C-130 and Skyvan at Brize Norton where you will conduct most of your training prior to jumping. The course is a very enjoyable course, there is also down time in the evenings and you can make use of the gyms in the evening
