My Transgender son has been turned down at medical interview due to being Transgender. Is this MOD policy?

There may be several other reasons as to why he may have been turned down from the medical.Transgenders are very complex to deal with as we only have male and female intakes so they must be fully transitioned before they can apply to go into either a male or a female role. As with any candidate that is turned down from the Army they would have been sent either a letter or email explaining specifically as to why they have been turned away but this would all be explained by the doctors in that communication between doctor and candidate.
